Proteome of extracellular vesicles derived from breast cancer cells


ABSTRACT: MDA-MB-231 cells were irradiated with 10 Gy X-rays and the medium was harvest for extracellular vesicles isolation 24 hours post-irradiation. Proteins carrying by EVs of irradiated and control cells were then analysed by LC-MS.

Radiotherapy reduces the risk of cancer recurrence and death, but the fact that it's accompanied by multiple side effects including muscle fibrosis and weakness, seriously affects the life quality of patients.
