Project description:We've collected bulk RNA-Seq and TMT-labeled proteomic data of aorta, brain, heart, kidney, liver, lung, muscle (gastrocnemius muscle), and skin of 6-, 15-, 24-, and 30-months old male C57BL/6J mice. The tissues used for transcriptomic analysis and proteomic analysis were collected from the same mice. All analyses were conducted with 4 biological replicates.

microRNA microarray on a cohort study of platinum-sensitive versus platinum-resistant NSCLC patients

Project description:To identify microRNAs that regulate therapeutic resistance, we conducted a high-throughput miRNA microarray on a cohort study of primary NSCLC (non-small cell lung cancer) tissues and adjacent normal tissues. We found some microRNAs related to therapeutic resistance and poor prognosis. In this study, the patients who were diagnosed with resected NSCLC (adenocarcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma) were enrolled. All tumors were reviewed by pathologists and were pathologically diagnosed according to the World Health Organisation Classification of Tumors. Twenty-nine patients who received four or more courses of first-line platinum-based chemotherapy after postoperative recurrence were divided into two groups (responder (n=17) and non-responder group (n=12)). As identified by ANOVA analysis and quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR) of 4 groups, some miRNAs exhibited significant expression changes.

Project description:Prostate cancer is the Prostate cancer is the most prevalent cancer in men. However, the majority of prostate cancers diagnosed today are indolent with 14% of patients diagnosed with lethal prostate cancer. It is of great importance to determine the molecular features that are involved in the aggressiveness of prostate cancers. To this end, we found that through SWATH-MS proteomics analyses of 108 well-preserved frozen prostate tissues of various disease states, tmost prevalent cancer in men. However, the majority of prostate cancers diagnosed today are indolent with 14% of patients diagnosed with lethal prostate cancer. It is of great importance to determine the molecular features that are involved in the aggressiveness of prostate cancers. Gene expression data from acetaminophen-induced toxicity in human hepatic in vitro systems and clinical liver samples

Project description:In this study we conducted transcriptomics analyses of: (i) liver samples from patients suffering from acetaminophen-induced acute liver failure (n=3) and from healthy livers (n=2) and (ii) hepatic cell systems exposed to acetaminophen, including their respective vehicle controls. The investigated in vitro systems are: HepaRG cells, HepG2 cells and a novel human skinpostnatal stem cell-derived model i.e. human skin-precursors-derived hepatocyte-like cells (hSKP-HPC). Clinical samples were obtained after surgical removal of the explant liver of patients diagnosed with ALF due to acetaminophen intoxication and treated by orthotopic liver transplantation (n=3). Samples from healthy livers were obtained from individuals deceased from brain damage (n=2). Different samples of hSKP, HepG2 and HepaRG were obtained from the same cell batch of each cell system. All cells were exposed for 24 hours to their corresponding sub cytotoxic concentrations (IC10): IC10(hSKP-HPC)=18mM; IC10(HepaRG)=13mM; IC10(HepG2)=2mM. Experiments were conducted in triplicate. This dataset is part of the TransQST collection.
