Chlorogeni cacid compounds from sweetpotato (lpomoeabatatas L.) leaves facilitate megakaryocyte differentiationand thrombocytopoiesis via Pl3K/AkT pathway

ABSTRACT: Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (lTP) is anautoimmune disorder characterized by antiplateletautoantibodies, thrombocytopenia, and bleeding. In thisstudy, a kind of active component, chlorogenic acidcompounds(CGAs)from sweetpotato leaves was isolatedby ionic liquids-ultrasound, which contains 6 isomers ofchlorogenic acid with total purity of 95.69%. CGAs couldpromote platelet formation in a murine model of ITP, whichwas established by injection of antiplatelet antibody. Tocharacterize the impact of CGAs on the bone marrowproteome in mice, tissue samples were subjected toproteomic analysis.

Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is an autoimmune disorder characterized by antiplatelet autoantibodies, thrombocytopenia, and bleeding, however, its treatment options are limited. In this study, a kind of active component, chlorogenic acid compounds (CGAs) from sweetpotato leaves was extracted out to explore its medicinal value and provide novel therapeutic strategies for the treatment of ITP. CGAs was isolated by ionic liquids-ultrasound (IL-UAE), which contains six isomers of chlorog  ...[more]
