Proteostasis and genomic integrity are respectively regulated by the endoplasmic reticulum-associated protein degradation (ERAD) and DNA damage repair signaling pathways, with both pathways essential for carcinogenesis and drug resistance. How these signaling pathways coordinate with each other remains unexplored.
