Identification of lysine lacylation in A. flavus
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Lysine lactylation has been identified in various model organisms, where lactylated proteins participate in numerous biological processes. However, the specific lactylated proteins and their corresponding lactylation sites in A. flavus remain unknown. To establish a global profile of lysine lactylation in A. flavus, we applied stress conditions as described earlier, given that lysine lactylation levels vary under different culture conditions. Using immunoaffinity enrichment combined with MS-based high-throughput 4D proteomics , we identified 3,507 high-confidence lactylation sites across 1,083 lactylated proteins, with a false discovery rate (FDR)<1% for modified peptides
