Proteomic and phosphoproteomic analyses reveal the biological perturbations caused by capsaicin
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In this study, we established a highly effective proteomic strategy that is broadly applicable for investigating the mechanisms of action of chemicals on the basis of pressure cycling technology (PCT). We conducted comprehensive proteomic and phosphoproteomic analyses to investigate the effects of capsaicin on the proteome and phosphoproteome of A549 human non-small cell lung cancer cells upon treatment with various doses for different durations.
