Effect of CP on cholestatic liver fibrosis
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The collagen in cod fish skin has anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrotic, and protective effects on the liver and gut. However, the mechanism by which low molecular weight collagen peptides (LMW-CP) derived from cod fish skin protect against cholestatic liver fibrosis remains unclear. Therefore, this study evaluated the effect of LMW-CP on cholestatic liver fibrosis and explored its impact on bile stasis.
