Identification of Per2-associated proteins in oral squamous carcinoma cell using LC-MS/MS


ABSTRACT: To identify potential proteins interacting with Per2 in oral squamous carcinoma cells, we performed SDS-PAGE followed by LC-MS/MS analysis of FLAG-Per2 immunoprecipitated proteins in cell extracts from SCC25 cells transfected with the FLAG-Per2 plasmid.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) has a poor prognosis, with unclear mechanisms posing a challenge for the development of effective treatment strategies. Cuproptosis is a novel cell death mode that disrupts mitochondrial metabolism. Clarifying the mechanisms that regulate cuproptosis may provide important new insights to guide OSCC treatment.
