Gut microbial genetic variation prolongs host healthy longevity and remodels metabolome and proteome in Drosophila melanogaster


ABSTRACT: The project includes the metabolic profiles of different yeast mutants and control strains, as well as the metabolic profiles of the gut and changes in protein levels of non-gut tissues in fruit flies fed with these strains. The dataset provides comprehensive insights into how specific yeast mutations influence the metabolic landscape of both the yeast themselves and the organisms consuming them. By examining both gut metabolism and systemic protein level changes, this data offers a valuable resource for understanding host-microbe interactions, particularly in the context of metabolic and proteomic shifts induced by microbial dietary interventions.
