PLK3 inhibitors treatment induces viral proteins expression in active reservoir from ART-treated individuals

ABSTRACT: CD4+ T cells were individually isolated from twenty ART-treated PLWH (each donor provided 50 ml blood; all viral loads <50 copies/mL), and treated with PLK3 inhibitors(GW843682X and NMS-P937). At 2 days post-treatment, cell lysates (from 2  108 total cells) were pooled and subjected to IP with anti-gp120, anti-Gag, anti-Vpr, or IgG antibodies, followed by LC-MS to detect gp120, Gag, and Vpr proteins in precipitates.
