Proteomic Analysis of the impact of uric acid pretreatment on APAP-treated mouse primary hepatocytes
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study investigates the effect of uric acid (UA) pretreatment on protein expression profiles in acetaminophen (APAP)-induced hepatotoxicity. Primary mouse hepatocytes were divided into two groups: APAP and UA+APAP. Cells in the UA+APAP group were pretreated with 400 μM UA for 2 hours, followed by 5 mM APAP treatment for 6 hours. After treatment, proteins were extracted and analyzed using LC-MS/MS-based proteomics.
