Interactome analysis of PQBP1 in human airway epithelial cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study aimed to identify the interacting proteins of Polyglutamine-Binding Protein 1 (PQBP1) in human bronchial epithelial cells (BEAS-2B). We performed immunoprecipitation coupled with mass spectrometry (IP-MS) using Flag-tagged PQBP1 as bait, with an empty vector transfection as a control. This interactome analysis was conducted as part of a larger study investigating the role of PQBP1 in asthmatic inflammation. The goal of this dataset was to identify downstream effectors of PQBP1, which led to the discovery of its interaction with the PRMT5/WDR77 complex.
