Identification of candidate microRNA biomarkers of endometriosis in different bodily fluids


ABSTRACT: Endometriosis is a common gynecological condition that affects approximately 10% of women of reproductive age and up to half of those experiencing infertility. However, there is a lack of reliable noninvasive diagnostic tools for diagnosing endometriosis. This study aims to identify novel biomarkers for endometriosis in different bodily fluids.

Endometriosis is a chronic estrogen-dependent disorder affecting up to 10% of women of reproductive age, and the absence of reliable noninvasive diagnostic tools contributes to delayed diagnosis and disease progression.
