Spatial phosphoproteomics reveals phosphorylation features in liver cirrhosis
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Liver cirrhosis (LC) is the end stage of chronic liver disease, characterized by pseudolobule formation and extensive fibrosis, with unclear regional dynamics of protein phosphorylation. This study used spatial phosphoproteomics combined with bioinformatics to analyze phosphorylation patterns in LC tissue’s normal hepatocyte zone (NH), pseudolobular hepatocyte zone (PH), and fibrotic-inflammatory portal area (PII), identifying differential phosphoproteins such as IQGAP1 and VIM, and kinases like ERK and GSK3α, providing a basis for LC mechanism research and target screening.
