The Robust Diagnostic and Therapeutic Biomarkers for Tuberculosis Identified through Multi-Omics and Mendelian Randomization Analysis

ABSTRACT: Tuberculosis remains a major global health challenge. We identified lipids and proteins as robust biomarkers through the integration of lipidomics, proteomics and mendelian randomization analysis. In the proteomics, We collected 105 plasma samples (including 35 newly diagnosed untreated tuberculosis patients in the TB0 group, 35 cured patients in the TB6 group after intensive continuous treatment, and 35 healthy controls in the HC group) for proteomics analysis to explore robust biomarkers for the diagnosis and cure monitoring of tuberculosis.
