From Early Metabolic Inhibition to Late Signal Interference: A Sequential Mechanism by which Antimicrobial Peptide P92 Targeting OmpA Inhibits Acinetobacter baumannii Biofilm
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Outer membrane protein A (OmpA) is a key virulence factor in Acinetobacter baumannii and a potential target for anti-biofilm strategies. To elucidate the sequential molecular mechanism by which the OmpA-targeting antimicrobial peptide P92 inhibits biofilm formation, a quantitative proteomic analysis was conducted on bacterial cells at multiple time points following P92 exposure.
