Proteomic profiling of surface mucus from the troglobitic leech Sinospelaeobdella wulingensis
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This project provides the first proteomic analysis of surface mucus from Sinospelaeobdella wulingensis, a troglobitic leech species endemic to Wuling Mountain caves in China. Surface mucus samples were collected from the type locality and analyzed by LC-MS/MS to characterize protein composition and explore physiological adaptations to subterranean environments. This dataset represents the first multi-omics resource for troglobitic leeches.
