Proteomic analysis of oral secretions from Tuta absoluta
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Plant-herbivore interactions involve complex molecular dialogues, wherein insects secrete salivary effectors to manipulate host defenses. Tuta absoluta is a devastating agricultural pest, yet the molecular mechanisms by which its effectors subvert plant immunity remain largely elusive. In this study,to elucidate the underlying mechanisms, we performed whole-proteome quantitative LC-MS/MS analysis to identify oral secretion proteins of T. absoluta.
