Parallel reaction monitoring (PRM) validation dataset of differentially expressed proteins in Malassezia furfur

ABSTRACT: This dataset contains parallel reaction monitoring (PRM) validation data for selected proteins identified from a TMT-based quantitative proteomics study of Malassezia furfur cultured under lipid-rich and lipid-depleted conditions. Target proteins were selected based on differential expression analysis from the discovery proteomics dataset. Peptides were analyzed by LC-MS/MS using targeted PRM acquisition on an Orbitrap Fusion mass spectrometer. This PRM dataset serves as targeted validation of the quantitative proteomics results. The corresponding TMT proteomics dataset has been deposited separately in the iProX repository.
