Label-free proteomic profiling of Alzheimer' s disease mice model hippocampus at the age of 8 months
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia with high morbidity in the elderly and the hippocampus is one of the key structures severely affected in AD. We performed hippocampal proteomic analysis of 8-month old App-NLF mice model of AD using a liquid-chromatography/mass-spectrometry system to investigate the proteins that are differentially expressed in order to identify changes in the proteins and molecular pathways that might promote the disease.
