Proteomic analysis of hexadecane utilization by Tsukamurella tyrosinosolvens PS2
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We described an actinobacterial strain Tsukamurella tyrosinosolvens PS2 capable of active utilization of linear alkanes, producing bio-surfactants, and containing two alkane hydroxylation systems. Proteomics approaches have shown the significance of differentially expressed proteins responding to hydrocarbon adverse pressure, including increased expression of the stress and resistance proteins.
