Arabidopsis thaliana PTM dynamics during dark-light transition


ABSTRACT: Two proteomics DDA experiments investigating dynamics of post-translational modifications in Arabidopsis thaliana whole leaf rosettes at multiple harvest times around dark to light transition. One experiment regarding acetylation (K) and phosphorylation (STY) after serial enrichment of dimethyl labelled samples. The second experiment regarding oxidation status of reversibly oxidized cysteins using differential iodoTMTsixplex labelling reagent and following TMT-antibody enrichment.

Diurnal dark to light transition causes profound physiological changes in plant metabolism. These changes require distinct modes of regulation as a unique feature of photosynthetic lifestyle.
