LC-MS/MS analysis of B12 treated SH-SY5Y cells


ABSTRACT: B12 is a compound that has neuroprotective effects. We investigated the protein expression profile associated with the neuroprotective effects of B12 on human neuronal cells SH-SY5Y using label-free quantitative proteomics.

B12 belongs to the coumarin class of compounds that have been shown to have various physiological and pharmacological activities including anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antioxidant.
