Chemical Derivatization of Streptavidin Provides Protection from Tryptic Proteolysis

ABSTRACT: A novel approach toward the protection of affinity purification matrices, such as the protein streptavidin or immunoglobulins, from tryptic digestion. This allows for on-bead enzymatic digestion, while minimizing contamination from the affinity purification matrix.
