ABSTRACT: This submission contains the mass spectrometry files for the manuscript by Garg et al. that describes the identification and functional characterization of the tetrahymena mediator complex. AP-MS experiments were performed from tetrahymena thermophila cells and MS files were acquired on 5600 TripleTOF and LTQ mass spectrometers. Mediator is a large protein complex required for basal and regulated expression of most RNA polymerase II (RNAP II)-transcribed genes, in part due to its interaction with and phosphorylation of the conserved C-terminal domain (CTD) of Rpb1 [1, 2].
