Ozonation of Peptides and proteins


ABSTRACT: In this work, we demonstrate that when introduced into an electrospray ionization (ESI) source, ozone promotes the oxidation of proteins and peptides. This oxidative labeling is selective towards tryptophan and methionine residues.
