Astrocyte and neuron cell surface proteomes

ABSTRACT: We developed, tested and validated a method to determine the cell surface proteomes (CSPs) of striatal astrocytes and neurons. We used this method to study the CSPs and how they change in mouse models of disorders that affect the striatum. We compared our data to postmortem human data to identify disease-relevant mechanisms.
