Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In this study we conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to evaluate the effects of administering probiotic mixtures containing Lactobacillus casei Zhang, Bifidobacterium lactis V9, and Lactobacillus plantarum P9 in patients with GERD. Patients were randomized into probiotic and placebo groups . All patients were treated with rabeprazole tablets and simultaneously received either probiotic or placebo for 8 weeks, and then administrated with probiotic or placebo alone for 4 weeks. Fecal samples from patients were collected and analyzed by untargeted metabolomics at weeks 0, 4, 8, 12.
