Proteomic profile of endothelial cells exposed to plasma from preeclamptic pregnant women
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Preeclampsia (PE) is a multifactorial disease with a complex pathophysiology and no specific treatment currently available. The release of harmful factors into maternal circulation and endothelial dysfunction play a key role in the development of preeclampsia. This study aims to identify altered proteins in endothelial cells exposed to the plasma of pregnant women with early and late onset PE comparing them with cells exposed to plasma from healthy pregnant women.
