NLDM Set 2: Metabolomics of Chlamydomonas and Brevundimonas
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Chlamydomonas and Brevundimonas, a bacterium co-isolated from wild Chlamydomonas, were grown separately and together in 3mL fresh NLDM, as well as 3mL of the other organism's spent media (separately only), at 28oC and 200RPM in a diel cycle of alternating 12 hours and light and dark for 24 hours, and samples were collected to understand their metabolic capacities and possible symbiotic relationship.
This research was performed under the Facilities Integrating Collaborations for User Science (FICUS) program (proposal:https://doi.org/10.46936/fics.proj.2021.60010/60000390) and used resources at the DOE Joint Genome Institute (https://ror.org/04xm1d337) and the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (https://ror.org/04rc0xn13), which are DOE Office of Science User Facilities operated under Contract Nos. DE-AC02-05CH11231 (JGI) and DE-AC05-76RL01830 (EMSL).
