Metabolomic Profiling Reveals Key Metabolic Alterations in Alzheimer's Disease and L. fermentum Treatment Response

ABSTRACT: In this study, we generated a comprehensive untargeted metabolomics dataset from six sample types (hippocampus, cortex, serum, cecum, colon, and feces) collected from an Alzheimer's disease mouse model, L. fermentum-treated mice, and wild-type controls. High-resolution LC-MS was used to capture metabolic alterations across samples. The dataset supports the identification of key metabolic signatures associated with Alzheimer's pathology and L. fermentum treatment response.
