Introducing Eyewear Lenses as Passive Samplers for Assessing Inhalation Exposure to Airborne Chemicals
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Data-dependent acquisition results for air samples, collected using PDMS-coated and uncoated polycarbonate lenses. Separation was conducted on an Agilent 1290 Infinity II HPLC with InfinityLab Poroshell 120 EC-C18 (Agilent) column (100 mm x 2.1 mm x 1.9 um). Lenses were extracted by wiping with isopropyl alcohol wipes (for uncoated polycarbonate lenses) or acetonitrile wipes (for PDMS-coated lenses). Wipes were extracted by shaking in acetonitrile for 15 minutes at 150 RPM, then concentrated to near dryness and reconstituted in 0.5 ml.
