S. elongatus PCC 7942 Circadian Extracellular Sucrose Quantification Metabolomics
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: GC-MS extracellular sucrose quantification investigating metabolites involved in central carbon metabolism and photosynthetic electron transfer pathways in Synechococcus elongatus. Time-series laboratory adaptive evolution of Synechococcus elongatus PCC 7942 CscB/SPS strain (ncbitaxon:1140) under fluctuating oxygen stress conditions in controlled turbidostatic conditions. The starting strain (labelled WT) was grown between 0-78.4% oxygen before transferred to 0% oxygen. This process was repeated twice in adapted populated one (0-93%) and adapted population two (0-99.8%). A final sample was taken at 0% oxygen for adapted population 3.
INSTRUMENT(S): Agilent 7890A GC coupled to a 5975C inert XL MSD
ORGANISM(S): Synechococcus Elongatus Pcc 7942 (ncbitaxon:1140)
