Mycosporine-like amino acid from the marine cyanobacterium Capilliphycus salinus ALCB114379
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Lyophilized cyanobacterial biomass (5 mg; n=3) was extracted with 0.1% (v/v) formic acid and 0.2 mM ammonium formate (pH ~2.55), followed by cell disruption via sonication and bead beating. Extracts were clarified by centrifugation and PVDF filtration (0.45 um), spiked with acyclovir as an internal standard, and quantified for shinorine, porphyra-334, and palythine using external standards by LC ESI TQMS.
INSTRUMENT(S): Agilent 1290 LC system coupled to an Agilent 6460 Triple Quadrupole MS (TQMS) with an ESI source
ORGANISM(S): Capilliphycus Salinus Alcb114379
