ABSTRACT: Enterobacter hormaechei-mediated solid-state fermentation (SSF) metabolomics in tobacco leaves remains underexplored. Using gas chromatography coupled with high-resolution mass spectrometry (GC-HRMS), we generated a time-resolved metabolomic dataset revealing 88 dynamically regulated metabolites, including amino acids, carbohydrates and organic acids. This resource elucidates phase-specific biochemical shifts during SSF and advances mechanistic understanding of microbial-driven tobacco modification, supporting bioprocessing optimization.
