Lactobacillus reuteri bile acid metabolism in vitro

ABSTRACT:

Upon reaching an OD600 of 0.3, L.

reuteri cultures were treated with 100 µM TCA, HCA, or

TCDCA. For BSHs inhibition assays, additional wells were treated with 100 µM

HCA + GR7. Both negative control and MRS medium control groups were included.

Cultures were terminated at 72 h by flash-freezing in liquid nitrogen.
