ABSTRACT: This study applied serum metabolomics to compare 10 traumatic intracerebral hemorrhage (TICH) patients with 10 controls. LC-MS/MS identified 3,183 metabolites, with increased benzene derivatives, organic acids, and amino acids, and decreased fatty acids, glycerophospholipids, and sphingomyelins in TICH patients. Multivariate analysis revealed differential metabolites involved in amino acid, lipid, and aromatic compound metabolism. Enrichment and network analyses indicated associations with lipid and amino acid metabolism, neural signaling, and inflammatory pathways. Mapping to HMDB suggested potential links to TICH pathogenesis, providing insights for biomarker discovery and therapeutic strategies.
