The omics data were used to reveal the role of aaNAT1 in the salivary glands of Aedes aegypti and the changes in metabolites in the salivary glands of Aedes aegypti after blood-feeding.


ABSTRACT:

The salivary glands of Aedes aegypti were collected separately from the following four groups: those injected with AaaaNAT1 dsRNA, those injected with GUS dsRNA, those after blood-feeding, and those without any treatment. Metabolomic analysis was performed on these four sample groups to utilize the omics data in revealing the role of aaNAT1 in the salivary glands of Aedes aegypti and the changes in metabolites within the salivary glands of Aedes aegypti after blood-feeding.
