Effects of synbiotic formulations on the pig gut microbiome

ABSTRACT:

We assessed the ability of three synbiotic formulations to improve gut health by stabilizing the gut microbiome and to prevent post-weaning diarrhoea in vivo in piglets using a mild Escherichia coli infection model.
