ABSTRACT: This untargeted metabolomics study investigates metabolic differences in human adipose tissue between Group A (n=7) and Group B (n=7). Samples were analyzed using LC-MS/MS in both positive and negative ion modes on a Thermo Q-Exactive HF-X mass spectrometer. A total of 2,305 metabolites were detected, of which 2,032 were identified at MS2 level. Differential metabolites were screened using VIP > 1 (from OPLS-DA) and P-value < 0.05 (Student's t-test). A total of 145 significant differential metabolites were identified, with 73 up-regulated and 72 down-regulated in Group A relative to Group B. KEGG pathway enrichment, HMDB annotation, and MSEA were performed to characterize the functional implications of these metabolic changes. Raw data files (mzML format) and processed data tables are provided.
INSTRUMENT(S): Liquid Chromatography MS - negative - reverse-phase, Liquid Chromatography MS - positive - reverse-phase
