C2C12 cell line knock out SCD1 or SCD2

ABSTRACT:

Lipidomic profiling was performed to compare control, SCD1-knockout, and SCD2-knockout C2C12 cells under standard culture conditions. Cell pellets were collected from routinely cultured cells, rapidly frozen, and stored at −80°C prior to lipid extraction and LC–MS/MS analysis. The study aimed to characterize lipidomic changes associated with the loss of SCD1 or SCD2 in C2C12 cells.
