ABSTRACT: Untargeted metabolomic profiling of the gut microbiota in Andrias davidianus. Combining non-elderly and elderly cohorts, this study reveals significant alterations in gut carbohydrate metabolites during Aging, reflecting a functional erosion of microbial processing capacity as a key hallmark of vertebrate aging.
