ABSTRACT: study investigated the anti-fatigue effect of the Panax ginseng–Astragali Radix (GGJ) herb pair, the core functional unit of Baoyuan Decoction, using a rat fatigue model induced by forced swimming. Serum samples were collected for untargeted metabolomics analysis by LC-MS/MS to profile differential metabolites and associated pathways. The metabolomic data were integrated with transcriptomic and gut microbiota profiling to elucidate the mechanism.
