Untargeted metabolomic profiling reveals lineage-associated chemical divergence in Ophiorrhiza sensu lato
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study performed untargeted LC–MS metabolomic profiling of fresh leaf tissues from seven representative Ophiorrhiza sensu lato taxa: O. subpunicea, O. cantonensis, O. pumila, O. shiqianensis, O. humilis, O. huanjiangensis, and O. hispidula. Metabolites were extracted using a methanol–acetonitrile–water solvent system and analyzed using ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with Xevo G2-XS QTof high-resolution mass spectrometry. The dataset was generated to characterize lineage-associated metabolic differentiation and to identify chemical variation involving terpenoids, lipids, alkaloids, polyketide-related compounds, and indole alkaloids associated with camptothecin metabolism.
INSTRUMENT(S): Liquid Chromatography MS - negative - reversed-phase-chromatography, Liquid Chromatography MS - positive - reversed-phase-chromatography
