Sex-Driven Differences in the Rumen Microbe-Metabolite-Epithelial Transport Axis: An Integrated Multi-Omics Study of Rumen Function in Male and Female Zhongwei Goats
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study investigates sex-driven differences in rumen metabolism in male and female Zhongwei goats. Rumen fluid samples were analyzed using untargeted LC-MS metabolomics in both positive and negative ion modes. Metabolites were separated by ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography and detected using high-resolution mass spectrometry. Raw LC-MS data were processed using MS-DIAL for peak extraction, alignment, filtering, metabolite identification and normalization.
INSTRUMENT(S): Liquid Chromatography MS - negative - reversed-phase-c18, Liquid Chromatography MS - positive - reversed-phase-c18
