ABSTRACT: Bacterial cells harvested at peak enzyme activity were subjected to untargeted metabolomic profiling to evaluate metabolic changes during straw degradation compared to control (CK) groups. Samples were extracted using pre-chilled methanol–water (4:1, v/v) and analyzed on a UHPLC-Q Exactive HF-X system operating in both positive and negative ionisation modes. Metabolites were identified by database matching against HMDB, KEGG, and Metlin. Downstream analyses integrated metabolomic findings with transcriptomic data to identify co-regulated pathways and construct correlation networks linking metabolite abundances with CMCase enzymatic activity.
INSTRUMENT(S): Liquid Chromatography MS - negative - reverse-phase, Liquid Chromatography MS - positive - reverse-phase
