Metabolomic profiling of mouse colorectal tumor tissues and fecal samples following bacterial intervention

ABSTRACT: This study investigated metabolic alterations in an AOM/DSS-induced mouse colorectal tumor model following bacterial intervention with Faecalibacterium prausnitzii and Peptostreptococcus stomatis. Targeted bile acid profiling and untargeted metabolomics were performed using LC-MS on colorectal tumor tissues and fecal samples from control and intervention groups to characterize changes in metabolic profiles associated with bacterial intervention.
