Metabolomics of SLE-associated podocytes

ABSTRACT: To characterize metabolic changes in SLE-associated podocytes, 1 × 10^6 podocytes were stimulated for 24 hours with immune complexes (ICs) isolated from patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or with IgG from healthy donors as a control. The cells were then collected and analyzed by untargeted liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) metabolomics.
