CRISPR-Cas9 knockout of WS1A/WS1B alleviates postharvest green vein defect via tissue-specific chloroplast degradation in flue-cured tobacco
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This dataset contains tissue-resolved untargeted metabolome data from flue-cured tobacco cultivar Honghuadajinyuan (wild-type) and transgene-free ws1 mutants generated by CRISPR-Cas9 knockout of homeologous WS1A/WS1B. Multiple tobacco tissues were profiled to capture metabolite alterations triggered by gene knockout. The dataset covers metabolites belonging to alkaloid, phenylpropanoid, flavonoid and jasmonate-related pathways. Raw LC-MS spectra and processed metabolite abundance tables are provided for comparative metabolic analysis between wild-type and ws1 mutant plants.
INSTRUMENT(S): Liquid Chromatography MS - negative - reverse-phase, Liquid Chromatography MS - positive - reverse-phase
