Targeted Metabolomic Profiling of Porcine Ovarian Granulosa Cells Following E4F1 and MPC1 Knockdown
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study aimed to investigate the roles of E4F1 and MPC1 in regulating metabolic homeostasis in porcine ovarian granulosa cells using targeted metabolomic analysis. Primary porcine ovarian granulosa cells were divided into three experimental groups: negative control (si-NC), E4F1 knockdown (si-E4F1), and MPC1 knockdown (si-MPC1). Targeted metabolomic profiling was performed using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) to characterize metabolic alterations following gene silencing. The analysis focused on metabolites involved in glycolysis, the pentose phosphate pathway, and the tricarboxylic acid cycle. The dataset provides insights into the metabolic changes associated with E4F1 and MPC1 depletion and their potential roles in regulating mitochondrial energy metabolism and metabolic homeostasis in porcine ovarian granulosa cells.
